Doris A. Stallard

Doris A. Dombrowski Stallard (nee Diamond), 70, of Vermilion, died Friday, May 5, 2006 as a result of an automobile accident in Huron. She was born December 4, 1935 in Daiseytown, PA. and had lived in Vermilion since 1997. She had lived in Lorain and Cleveland. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1952. She had owned and operated an H & R Block office in Vermilion in the 70's and had a real estate license in the 1990's. She was a former member of St Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, Lorain where she worked Bingo and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed gardening, her grandchildren and her dog. Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Orville Stallard; daughters, Cheryl Yates of Pekin, IN; Joyce Normando of Florence Township; Vicki Pando of Amherst; 5 grandchildren; step sons, Jim Stallard of Akron, Jeff Stallard of Berea, Ed Stallard of Brunswick; step daughter, Bambi McGraw of Spencer; 5 step grandchildren and a sister, Isabelle Robertson of Charleroi, PA. Preceding her in death were her parents, Albert and Florence (nee Beatty) Diamond, her first husband, Jerome Dombrowski, 1987, and 8 brothers and sisters. Friends may call Monday, May 8, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at 11 a.m. The Reverend Freddie Ray will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
