Dorothy E. Adzima (nee Malarik), 94, of Vermilion, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Mill Manor Care Center after a short illness. She was born April 30, 1921 in Cleveland and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 27 years moving from Maple Heights. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and enjoyed knitting, watching cooking shows, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Michael-deceased) Kleckner of Vermilion; son, Jim (Patti) Adzima of Twinsburg; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois Rickelman of Sagamore Hills. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Adzima; parents, Joseph and Helen (nee Bandsuh) Malarik; brother, Donald Malarik; and sisters, Frances Malarik and Lillian Curran. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of a prayer service at 1:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion.
