Dorothy Emling

Dorothy Evelyn Emling (nee Roughton), 93, of Vermilion, died Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She was born July 4, 1928 in South Euclid, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 4 years moving from Sacramento, CA. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Martha) Emling of Amherst and Raymond (Deborah) Emling of Kingston, WA; daughter, Carolyn (Robert) Mannassere of Sutter Creek, CA; grandchildren, William, Patrick, Christopher, Robert, Anthony, and Connor; and great grandson, Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lilly (nee Millward) Roughton and her brother, Raymond Roughton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
