Dorothy Xenia Ford

Dorothy Xenia Ford (nee Myers), 86, of Avon Lake, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Main Street Care Center after a lengthy illness. Dorothy was born July 6, 1929 in Cleveland and had been a life long Cleveland area resident. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cleveland where she was active in the Altar Guild and choir. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Kirk (Mary) Ford and Keith Ford; grandchildren, Joshua (Erin), Jonas (Lauren), and Kevin (Nikki) Ford; four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Olivia June, Greysen, Cohen; sisters, Mary Jane Snyder; brothers, Bob (Susan) Myers, John (Karen) Myers, and Bill (Jean) Myers; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Ford; parents, Theodore and Julia (nee Piribek) Myers; and sisters, Caroline Boguchki, Gertrude Noval, and Jean Yeigh. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 2031 West 30th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44113. Pastor Jerry Mitchell will officiate. Interment will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley, OH.
