Dovie M. Sigler

Dovie M. Sigler (nee Michael), 86, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness. Dovie was born March 1, 1925 in Booneville, Mississippi. She had been a Vermilion resident since 1957 moving from Memphis. She was a former member of Freewill Baptist Church, Lorain, and enjoyed playing guitar, shopping, and traveling She is survived by her sons, Arthur (Joann) Sigler of Vermilion, Paul (Beverly) Sigler of Avon; grandchildren, Christine Curtis of Avon, Angie Prete of Vermilion, Brian Sigler of Lagrange; 5 step grandchildren, 5 great grand children; and brother, Jasper Michael of AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper W. Sigler and her parents, Johnny and , Elsie Elizabeth (nee Maniss) Michael. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012 from 4 - 7p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Howard Carroll will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery,Vermilion.
