Edna Burke

Edna Burke, 86 of Vermilion, died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Rehab and Nursing Center of Firelands in New London. She was born January 18, 1922 in Vermilion where she lived most of her life. She most recently made her home in LaGrange and in New London. She is survived by her children, Linda Shoulter of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania and Edward Burke of LaGrange; and a granddaughter, Susan Nielsen of Parkdale, Oregon. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Howard Burke, parents, Lloyd and Phoebe (nee Baldwin) Leidheiser, and a sister, Evelyn Hayes. Private family services will be held with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermililion.
