Edward F. West

Edward F. West, Jr. 60, of Vermilion, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at his home after a lengthy illness. Born January 13, 1950 in Amherst, he had been a lifelong Vermilion resident. Ed worked for Ford Motor Co., Avon for many years as a transporter and had been a volunteer firefighter with Sheffield Twp. He enjoyed fishing, following the Cleveland Sports teams, and spending time with his family especially his daughter and granddaughter. Survivors include his daughter, Stacey (David) Fulk of Lorain; granddaughter, Hailey Fulk; mother, Dorothy (nee Phillips) West of Vermilion; brothers, Thomas West of Avon, Robert West of Lorain, Michael West of Vermilion, and John West of Vermilion; sister, Beverly Markus of Vermilion; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Edward F. West Sr. and a nephew Jason West. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 23, 2010 at 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South Street Vermilion, OH 44089. Pastor Art Wiegand will officiate.
