Eileen Ruth Ford

Eileen "Hutch" Ruth Ford (nee Hutcherson), 86, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short illness. She was born April 13, 1922 in Bay Village, and had been a Vermilion resident for 54 years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion, the Vermilion Lagoons Ladies Association, and Book Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, and animals. She supported several animal charities especially for dogs. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Arthur Ford; daughter, Mary Lou (Butch)Taylor of Stow; and grandsons, John Taylor and Robert Taylor. Preceding her in death were her parents, Judd and Alice (nee Goldbach) Hutcherson, a brother, George Hutcherson and a daughter, Linda Lee Stanic in 2000. Friends may call Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 1p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 2 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
