Eleanor M. Neiding Hollis (nee Wagner), 95, of Elyria, died Thursday, December 15, 2005 in Golden Acres Lorain County Home. She was born November 27, 1910 in Olmsted Falls. She was a former resident of Vermilion and had also lived in Elyria and Lorain. She worked as a bus driver for Vermilion School District for 13 1/2 years. She had also worked for the former Lake Erie Restaurant in Vermilion before retiring in 1971. She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, A.A.R.P. National, a member of Club 18, Vermilion, and a former member of the VFW Auxilliary of Birmingham. Survivors include daughters, Norma Jean Knipper of Elyria, Phyllis Anne Burdue of Norwalk, Patricia Carol Strait of Vermilion, and Rosemary Diane Clime of Collins; sons, Robert G. Neiding of Vermilion, John A. Neiding of North Ridgeville, and Bruce K. Neiding of Avon; 34 Grandchildren; 52 Great Grandchildren; and 10 great great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Ward of Strongsville, Ruby Sherman of Brunswick, and Margaret Lyndes of North Ridgeville Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Pearl (nee Medlenbrock) Wagner and 2 great grandchildren; son, Darrell Neiding and a brother, Gordon Wagner. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2005 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church, Grand at Ohio Street, Vermilion, Ohio, Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Bob Daughtery, will officiate.
