Elizabeth E. Green

Elizabeth E. Green (nee Streng), 97 of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Northridge Health Center after lengthy illness. She was born January 2, 1913 in Perkins, Ohio and has been a Vermilion resident for 57 years, before moving to North Ridgeville. Elizabeth worked at Aufenkamp on North Ridge Rd. for 25 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Vermilion. She enjoyed gardening, flower arranging Bingo and pinochle. She survived by her son, Rolland (Carol) Green, Jr. of Elyria, daughter, Margaret (Raymond) Olah of Lorain, 4 grandchildren, Shirley, Karen, Michael and Brian; 5 great grandchildren Kelly, Christopher, Abigail, William and Alex; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Good, and Caroline Cotten of Sandusky. Preceding her in death were her husband Rolland H. Green in 2008, parents, Fred and Emma (nee Schwanger) Streng; brothers, Walter, Carl, Paul, Norman, and Alfred Streng The family will receive friends, Friday, February 12, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Graveside services will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11 am with The Reverend Terry Parker, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
