Elizabeth Marie Hall (nee Lowder), 87, of Amherst, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born October 22, 1925 in Lyra, OH, and had been an Amherst resident for the past 18 years moving from Wheelersburg, OH. She had also lived in Vermilion much of her life. Elizabeth was a member of Harbourtown Community Church, Vermilion and a past member of the Grange in Lyra. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and animals. She is survived by her sons, Charles Hall Jr. of Amherst, Stephen Hall of Vermilion, Rick (Darlene) Hall of New London, and John Hall of Amherst; daughters, Linda (Allan) Krisher of Wakeman and Joyce (Reverend Jim) Cooper of Amherst; 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hall in 2007; parents, William and Nora (nee Adams) Lowder; and brother, Virgil Lowder. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Riddle Funeral Home. The Reverend Jim Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Township.
