Elizabeth Jean Klebe

We are sad to announce the passing of our mother, Elizabeth Jean Pecsok Dewey Klebe, on 8/17/25. Elizabeth was affectionately known as Betty. She had resided at Kingston Assisted Living where she was treated incredibly well by their caring and amazing staff. She was born on November 21, 1938 to Joseph Allen Pecsok and Florence Elizabeth Bateman Pecsok.

In addition to her parents and in-laws (Roy and Lillian Dewey), Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Joanne, and son-in-law, Rob Rupinski.

Betty’s life revolved around being a full-time mom while working at Dewey Furniture. She graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in Whitehouse, Ohio, and also received a degree from the Lorain Business College.

Betty is survived by her four children, Mike (Jill) Dewey, Mark Dewey, Mary Jo (Dewey) Rupinski, and Matt (Julie) Dewey, brothers Allen (Donna) Pecsok, John (Ruth) Pecsok, grandchildren, Justin (Stephanie) Dewey, Jerrod (Stephanie) Dewey, Josh (Julianne) Dewey, Jessica (Thomas) Bennett, Brandon (Coral) Rupinski, Michael (Kylie) Rupinski, Lauren Dewey, Matthew Dewey, Emily Dewey, Nathan

(Rachel) Dewey, and Sam Dewey. Betty also has six great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Riddle Funeral Home in Vermilion for Betty on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 2:00-3:00 with the eulogy delivered at 3:00.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Compassus New Life Hospice Center.
