Elvira P. Bylicki (nee Bilancini), 93, of Lorain, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a short illness. She was born July 27, 1924 in Lorain where she had been a life long resident. Elvira worked as a cashier for Zayres for 20 years. She was a member of St. Peter Parish, Lorain and the Italian American Veterans Women's Aux. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bowling, and traveling and dancing with her late husband. She especially enjoyed socializing and spending time with her family. She is survived her sons, Ronald ( Maria) Bylicki of North Canton and Jeffrey (Sandy) Bylicki of Monongahela, PA; daughters, Gail (Robert) Miller of Wakeman, Renee (Charlie) Harrison of New Waterford, and Candice Landry of Lorain; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Bylicki in 2001; parents, Orlando and Dora (nee Fratangelo) Bilancini; brothers, Joseph, Louis, Rocky, John, and Anthony; and her sisters, Adeline Cassano and Rose Olson. The family will receive friends on Monday, Jan. 22, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 at 9:30 am followed by at 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Parish, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH.
