Ernest "Ernie" Elmer Fleming, age 78 of Rossford, Ohio passed away on March 26, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born on February 28, 1937 in Vermillion, OH to Elmer C. and Alice (Howell) Fleming. Ernie was a graduate of Vermillion High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged Ernie went to work in his hometown of Vermillion at Kyle Motors and then Fulper Autoparts. Later he moved to Rossford and worked as a grounds keeper for various commercial properties in the area. Ernie was a 32nd Degree Mason and was quite the collector. He enjoyed ice cream and especially enjoyed his time with family and his many friends in Rossford. Surviving are his children, George Fleming, Victoria (Greg) Popkin and Eric (Sharifa Crawford) Fleming; grandchildren, Cassandra Fleming, Chase Popkin, Skylar Popkin, Caelynn Fleming and Jaidon Crawford. Also surviving is his brother, Gerald (Carol) Fleming; twin sister, Elaine (Dennis) McKern and sister, Dianna Crennan. Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 4 to 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St, Vermilion, from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 1:00 PM where the Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct Military Honors at the Riddle Funeral Home. The Rev.
