Ethel R. Rushton

Ethel R. Rushton (nee Rosso), 91 of Vero Beach, Florida, died Monday, October 6, 2003 in Tandum Health Care Center, Vero Beach, FL. She was born April 1, 1912 in Lorain, Ohio. Ethel lived all her life in Lorain until moving in 1996 to be with her son in Vero Beach, FL. She was a homemaker and a member of The Catholic Church of St. Peter. Survivors include son, Tim Rushton of Vero Beach, Florida; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Frances Kobylka of Lorain, Ohio, Jennie Veinfortner of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and Rosemary Zehnder of Orange, Connecticut; and, brother Joseph Rosso of Lorain, Ohio. Preceding her in death were her husband Richard Rushton (1971); parents, Louis and Anna Rosso; brothers Sam, Louis, James and John Rosso; and, sister Lena Kostin. Friends may call on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 from 5-9 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Chrisian Burial at The Catholic Church of St. Peter, Thursday, October 9, 2003, at 10:00am with the Reverend David Woost, Associate Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain, Ohio.
