Etta Richardson (nee Chambers), 78 of Berlin Heights, died Sunday, February 15, 2009 in Cleveland Clinic Foundation after a lengthy illness. She was born April 24, 1930 in Turley, TN. She has been a Florence Twp. resident for the past 40 years, moving from Amherst. She had been a member of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Turley, TN. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, needlework, reading and watching game shows on the game show network. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Milford "Ernest" Richardson; sons, Curtis (Joann) Richardson of Florence Township, and Billy (Mary) Richardson of Brownhelm; daughter, Jewell Richardson of Florence Township; 7 grandchildren: Christina, Sandra, Heather, Bryan, Donna, Shawn, and Erika; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Fostine Berryman of Ann Arbor, MI; sisters-in-law Elsie Wakelee and Della Byrd; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florenda (nee Sexton) Chambers; sister, Elsie Chambers, brothers, Kelley Chambers, Leon Chambers and an infant brother. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, February 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 11 am with the Pastor Leon Simpson of Firelands Church in Birmingham, officiating.
