Florence B. Diener

Florence B. Diener (nee Donald), 79 of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain after a lengthy illness. She was born March 20, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio where she spent most of her life. She was a member of St. Jerome Church, Cleveland and had been a member of the PTA. She enjoyed vacationing in Vermilion at the Olympic Outing Club and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Terrence (Cheryl) Diener of Avon Lake; daughters, Georgianne (Rich) Tarrant of Vermilion and Jacqueline Ward of Chagrin Falls; 3 grandchildren Tracy (Ethan) Davies, Melanie Ward, and Shannon Tarrant. Preceding her in death were her husband, George J. Diener in 2003; parents, Thomas and Helen (nee Johnson) Donald; and 2 sisters, Helen Ollom and Kathryn Kall. Friends may call Monday, July 21, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion OH where Reverend Jim Homer will have an evening prayer service at 8 pm. Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 22, 2008 at 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland with Rev. Anthony Cassese, pastor of St. Jerome Church, officiating.
