Florence R. Drennan

Florence R. Drennan, 89 of Lorain, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Hearthstone at Lorain following short illness. She was born August 28, 1917 in Grafton, moving to Lorain in 1941. She was a devoted homemaker to her late husband, Harold, and to her five children. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, and enjoyed gardening and family gatherings. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Buchanan of Amherst; sons, Eugene Drennan of Lorain, Gary Drennan of Snohomish, Washington, Richard Drennan of Willoughby Hills and Dennis Drennan of Buford, Georgia; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Harold Drennan in 1991, parents, August and Gertrude (nee Schaefer) Deimling, brother, Clinton Deimling and sister, Marion Haumesser. Friends may call on Sunday, July 15, 2007 from 4-6pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Graveside services will be on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery, North Ridge Road, Lorain. Reverend Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor of St. Peter, will officiate.
