Florence Tansey

Florence Rose "Sissy" Tansey, 48, of Willard, died Saturday, May 6, 2023 at her home after a sudden illness.

She was born December 28, 1974 in Amherst, OH and had been a Willard area resident for over 20 years moving from Vermilion.

Sissy enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, crafts, animals, and babysitting for her friend's children.

She is survived by her father, Frank M Tansey, Jr. of Vermilion; sister, Frances (John) Korhel of Vermilion; brother, Russell (Terra) Tansey of East Jordan, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Kay (nee Hess) West; step-father, Carl West; and her sister, Peggy Tansey.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 11 until the time of the memorial service at 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.   Private Inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
