Photo by e-mail Florence "Flossie" Trebus (nee Domanski), age 90, of Lorain, died Monday, September 27, 2004 at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born on September 24, 1914 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident. She graduated from Lorain High School and also received an Associates Degree from the Lorain Community College. She was a beautician, owning and operating Flossie's Beauty Shop in Lorain. She enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and its Altar and Rosary Society. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Volak of Lorain and a son, Bill Trebus of Lorain; a sister, Pearl (Bialorucki) Palsa of Lorain. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Joseph Trebus in 1990, parents, John and Mary (nee Swies) Domanski, and brothers, Ed, Frank, Art and Ray Domanski. Friends may call Wednesday, September 29, 2004 from 3-8pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. The Altar & Rosary Society will conduct a Rosary Service at 4:00pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 9:30 am followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 15th Street and Lexington Avenue, Lorain . The Reverend Kevin C. Shemuga, and Reverend Mr. Robert J. Dybo will be the celebrants. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
