Frances Janet Stasky

Frances Janet Stasky, 89 of Vermilion, died Monday, May 10, 2010 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, Lorain, surrounded by love. She was born July 24, 1920 in Ellamore, WV, the daughter of the late Vincent and Bertha (Kittle) Pennington. She grew up in Coalton, West Virginia where her father had a general store. She worked at Higbees in Elyria where she demonstrated cosmetics. A resident of Vermilion the past 50 years, she enjoyed gardening, animals, and spending time with friends and family. She leaves behind her daughters, Toni Dalton of Phoenix, Arizona, Tamara Barbato of Vermilion and Mari Stasky of Columbus; grandchildren, Rodney Dalton, Lauren and Derek Barbato and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Vincent and Bertha (nee Pennington) Kittle; sisters, Susan S., Mary, June, Mona, and Lillian; and her brothers, Mack, Bryan, Farren and Walter.
