Frank Papp

Frank T. Papp, 90, of Vermilion, died suddenly at his home on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

He was born in South Amherst and graduated from South Amherst School in 1950.

Frank was a long time employee of The Ohio Edison Co.  He started as a lineman and later worked in the engineering department, retiring in 1993.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Sandra and three daughters, Nancy Harper of Amherst Twp., Debra Jackson of Vermilion Twp., and Amy Lasley of Lexington, S.C.  He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Tim Bailey, Andrea Nazario, Evan Jackson, Laura Uhl, and Douglas Lasley; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Beebe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Papp; brother, William Kovach; and his sisters, Veronica Quigley and Irene Malanowski.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
