Frank Allen Staszak, 71, of Vermilion, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born July 20, 1950 in Lorain, OH and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 48 years moving from Florida. Frank graduated from Lorain High School in 1969. He started his career with the Steel Mill in Lorain and worked for various companies throughout his life, including his favorite job with the Cleveland Metro Parks, where he retired after 28 years in 2019. He was a member of the Vermilion Fish and Game Association, Black River Hunt Club, and Rochester Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing grass, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara (nee Toth) Staszak of Vermilion; daughter, Melanie (Richard) Timko of Austin, TX; son, Joe (Nicole) Staszak of Vermilion; and his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Allison, Alexander, and Gabriella. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mona (nee Caswell) Staszak The family will receive family and friends on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022 from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
