Freddie Lee Tallman

Freddie Lee Tallman, 70, of Vermilion, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at Mercy New Life Hospice after a lengthy illness. He was born August 4, 1949 in Buckhannon , WV and had been a Vermilion resident since 1954 moving from WV. Freddie worked as an over the road truck driver for many years and had also worked interior construction doing drywall. He was a social member of the VFW Post #7576 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and genealogy. He is survived by his brother, Gary (Nadyne) Tallman of Sheffield Village, two sister in laws and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Edith "Evona" (nee Edgell) Tallman; and his brothers, Wilson V. Jr., Roger, Edgel, and Lynn E Tallman. A celebration of Freddie's life will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Gospel Church, 856 Decatur St., Vermilion, OH 44089. Friends and family are encouraged to stay after the service for a light meal. Private inurnment will take place at Mt. Union Cemetery, Buckhannon, WV.
