Gail F. Kotab

Gail F. Kotab (nee Westenhaver), 73 of Huron, died Saturday, April 19, 2008 in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky after a lengthy illness. She was born April 2, 1935 in Cleveland, OH. She had been a Vermilion resident for 14 years before moving to Avon Lake in 1992, and Huron in 1998. Gail worked as a Telemarketing Operator for Great Lakes Carpeting for 15 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical & Reformed Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed crocheting and calling Bingo numbers at Beach Park Tower, Avon Lake. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Krupp of Martinsburg, WV; son, William (Amy) Kotab of Vermilion, 4 grandchildren: Ashley, Jamie, Nicholas, Anthony, and John; and sister, Edith Darrow of Martinsburg, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Paull and Irene Helen (nee Esch)Westenhaver. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 4:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, with the Rev. Nick Cacciatore and Rev. Bill Seith co-officiating.
