Gary Mccord

Gary Wayne McCord, 44, of Amherst, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at his home after a short illness. He was born August 21, 1960, in Amherst and had been a Vermilion resident most of his life. He was a graduate of Vermilion High School Class of 1978. He worked for 22 years as a tool and die maker for Lithonia Down Lighting in Vermilion. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, landscaping and the outdoors. Survivors include his parents, Billy and Jane (nee Hobbs) of Vermilion; 2 sisters, Vicki McPhie of Lorain and Rosemary McCord of Memphis, TN; 1 brother, Michael McCord of Salem, Oregon; and 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Friends may call Tuesday, October 26, 2004 from 5 until the time of a memorial service at 7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
