George Brass

George F. Brass, Sr., 77, of Vermilion, died Monday, October 10, 2005 at his home after a short illness. He was born July 4, 1928 in Lorain, and has been a Vermilion resident for the past 37 years. He worked as a hydraulic repairman for US Steel, retiring in 1984. He enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and cars. He is survived by a son and daughter in law, Michael F. and April Danielle Brass of Lorain; sons Carl Fredrick Brass, Avon, George Fredrick Brass, Jr., Wakeman and daughter, Beverly Brass; 3 step sons, Alexander Shane Harris; Stephen Kent Harris; and Raymond Francis Harris all of Vermilion; a step daughter, Stephanie Carol Krueger of Penisula, OH; 2 grandchildren, Joseph James Brass and Michael Frederick Brass; 8 step grandchildren, and a sister, Beverly Cirigliano of Elyria. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Brass and his parents, John F. and Mary (nee Trinklein) Brass.
