Gilbert B. Moyer

Gilbert B. Moyer, 81, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Lake Pointe Health Center, Lorain . He was born August 17, 1927 in Akron, and had lived in Vermilion for 22 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of the University of Illinois. He owned and operated Akron Advertising Art for 25 years where he worked as a commercial artist. He enjoyed woodworking and sailing. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carol Moyer (nee Sargent) and daughter, Michele Gaw of Strongsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Margaret (nee Miller) Moyer. Services are private.
