Glenna S. Bache

Glenna S. Bache (nee Steele), 95, of Vermilion, died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born July 29, 1925 in Lorain and had been a Vermilion resident for the past year and a half moving from Norwalk. Glenna received her Masters Degree in Library Science from Bowling Green University. She worked as the Audio and Visual Specialist for Huron City Schools for many years, retiring in 1983. She also enjoyed the time she spent working on the Levy Campaign for the Huron City Schools. She was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church, Norwalk and Grace Episcopal Church, Sandusky. Glenna had also been a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and enjoyed writing poetry, water colors, traveling, and especially loved her dogs. She is survived by her sons, Kim (Linda) Bache of Vermilion and Kevin (Laura) Bache of Sandusky; grandchildren: Ashlea, Erin, Brittany, and Jenna; and great grandchildren, Pipit, Finnegan, Sadie, and Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 2016; parents, Maurice and Dorothy (nee Parrish) Steele; and her brother, Maurice Edgar Steele, Jr. Private family services will be held.
