Gloria I Gulas (nee Watson), 65, of Vermilion, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at the home of her mother in Vermilion surrounded by her family. Born November 8, 1945 in Kingwood, WV, she had been a Vermilion resident for the past 42 years moving from Lorain. She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1963. Gloria worked for Burger King, was a hostess at McGarveys, Vermilion, worked at the Board of Elections and Fruehauf, Avon Lake. She enjoyed reading, listening to Elvis music, gardening, cooking, her family especially her grandchildren, fishing, camping, and playing cards. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, John Gulas, Sr.; 2 sons, John Gulas, Jr., Scott T. Gulas Sr.; daughter, Candace Gulas, 3 grandsons, Scott T. Gulas Jr., Michael Gulas, Jacob Mulica; granddaughter, Lauren Gulas; brother, James E. Watson; and her mother, Mary "Kitty" Watson all ofVermilion. She was preceded in death by father, James T. Watson in 1990. Friends may call Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association, P.O. Box 415, Sandusky, Ohio 44871-0415.
