Harriett M. Parkinson

Harriett M Parkinson (nee Mercer), 88 of Vermilion , died Monday, February 28, 2005 in Welcome Nursing Home, Oberlin after a lengthy illness. She was born May 11, 1916 in Donora, PA, and had been a Vermilion resident since 1990. She was a member of Trinity Luthern Church in Vermilion; volunteered at Lorain Community Hospital, was a member of the hospital auxiliary and loved to crochet and knit.. Survivors include son, Dennis E Parkinson of Copper Mountain, CO; daughter, Peggy Shimer of Vermilion, and 6 grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, Earl J. Parkinson in 1990, parents, Frank E. and Elizabeth M.(nee Caldwell) Mercer; sister, Mary Frances Mercer; and her brother, Frank E. Mercer, Jr. Services will be private.
