Hazel Irene Biddinger (nee Hunter), 91, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at her home. Hazel was born May 8, 1922 in Wausau, Wisconsin, She had been a Vermilion resident for the past 52 years. Hazel worked as a book keeper for Klingshirn Builders, Kaplan Furniture and Wilson Feed and Fur, Missouri. She was a member of United Presbyterian Church, LaPlata, Missouri. She enjoyed socializing at AMVETS, and caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Wesley) DeWitt of Oberlin; grandchildren, Patricia Whitt of Vermilion, Barbara (Dave) Brown of Vermilion, Danielle Bowles of Huron, Jon DeWitt of Oberlin and Susan 'Christy" Pickett of Oberlin; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Biddinger in 2000; her parents, Jacob and Honora (nee Collins) Hunter; a great granddaughter, Elizabeth Paige Hall in 1995 and 12 brothers and sisters.
