Helen Bober

Helen Bober,86 of Lorain, died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Community Health Partners in Lorain. She was born January 17, 1920 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident. She worked as an assembler for Moen in Elyria for 35 years. She attended Nativity School and was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She enjoyed baking, her dog and animals. She is survived by her cousins, Amalia Kozial of Lorain, Anna Kurcon and Michal Golda, both a Poland, and several other cousins. She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Frank and Mary (nee Keller) Bober, brothers, Peter and John and a sister, Bernice. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:30am on Thursday, April. 20, 2006 followed by a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Kevin Shemuga will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
