Helen Domaleski, age 89 of Lorain, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in Autumn Aegis Nursing Home, Lorain . She was born October 27, 1916 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident. She worked for the Standyne-Moen Company in Elyria as an inspector, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain and its Altar and Rosary Society and St. Theresa Lodge. She is survived nieces, Theresa Piscione of Lorain and Clara Porvasiuk of Parma. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Chester Domaleski in 1979, parents, Peter and Anna (nee Ziemba) Zuba , brother, Aignatius Zuba and sisters, Mary Iwanski and Sr. Frances Ann Zuba. The family will recieve friends on Friday, June 2, 2006 from 2-4 / 7-9pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Members of the Altar and Rosary Society will recite the rosary at 3:00 pm. Closing prayers will be said at 9:30 am Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. The Reverend Robert J. Glepko, pastor, will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
