Helen Petroskey

Helen Petroskey (nee Raccio ), 90, of Lorain, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Autumn Aegis Retirement Community where she had been a resident for the past 2 1/2 years. Helen was born June 11, 1922 in Lorain. She was a homemaker and a member of The Catholic Church of St. Peter. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially for the holidays. She also enjoyed bingo and playing cards. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson. Helen is survived by her daughter Mary Lou (Brian) Weisman of Lorain; grandson Jason (Michelle) Weisman of North Ridgeville; great-grandson Dylan Weisman; sister Yolanda Bobrowski of Lorain; She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Louise (nee Reveglia) Raccio, husband Edward Petroskey in 1989, and siblings Angeline Petroskey, Louie Raccio, and Mary Zalinski. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 4th from 4-7 P.M. at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Reverend Fr. Craig Hovanec will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
