Helen Wecht

Helen Wecht, age 91, of Lorain, died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain. She was born June 18, 1914 in Cleveland and had worked as a seamstress and dressmaker for several companies throughout the country. She enjoyed flowers, sewing and traveling. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, George Wecht, parents, Joseph and Theresa (nee Kalo) Chasar, sister, Josephine Sturbant and brothers, Robert, Francis and William Chasar. There will be no visitation. A funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Reverend Mr. Ralph Krupp, deacon at the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain will officiate. Private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
