Henry L. Boepple, 81, of Vermilion, died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Kingston of Vermilion following a lengthy illness. âHenry was born May 15, 1936 in Cleveland, he was raised in North Ridgeville before moving to Vermilion, other than spending 17 years in Winterhaven, FL. â Henry graduated from North Ridgeville High School class of 1955. He worked in auto sales and management for Mullinax Ford and Mike Bass Ford for 50 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion, he was a 32nd Degree Mason in the Cleveland Masonic Lodge # 781, also Avon Lake Jaycees receiving the Jaycee of the year, and holding many positions including president and vice president. He had a great love of flying, had his private pilots license, and enjoyed building and flying his own remote controlled airplanes. He also enjoyed golfing, riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family and was a part time farmer, growing corn and soy beans. â He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diana Boepple (nee Zust) of Vermilion; sons, Glen (Doris) Boepple of Bismark, ND and Henry H. Boepple of Vermilion; daughters, Jeannine (Jeff) Janezic of Wakeman, Cheryl (Paul) Sopko of Vermilion, and Michelle (Ron) Hector of Washington, IL; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and brother, Bruce (Wini) Boepple of Mentor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Marie (nee Leitheiser) Boepple; brothers, Glen and William Boepple; and sister, Patricia Camarata.â The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 4 pm until the time of a Masonic Service at 7:30 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Closing prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion, OH. Reverend Ron Brickner will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street Vermilion, OH 44089.
