Henry Allen Taylor , 84, of Vermilion, died Sunday, November 6, 2011 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph, Lorain, after a one year illness. Henry was born November 2, 1927 in Soverign, WV. He had been a Vermilion resident since 1961. . He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII Henry worked for 30 years for Lorain Ford Motor as a line inspector. He was a charter member of the First Assembly of God Church, Vermilion. He enjoyed being a handyman, growing roses, and wood working. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Helen; sons, Allen (Diana) Taylor, Sugar Grove, IL, Ronald (Connie) Taylor, Taylorsville, KY; daughter, Beverley Przytulski, Springfield, OH; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; brother, Claude (Verna) Taylor, Amherst; 3 sisters, Jewell Jarosz, Hamlin, WV, Mary Schultz, Hamlin, WV and Louise Anderson, Lorain;7 step children; 23 step grandchildren; 43 step great grandchildren; and 6 step great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Joan (Juanita) Taylor, 2008, sisters, Audrey Baldwin, Beth Ann Taylor and step sister, Dorothy Sparks. The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home The Reverend C. Michael Levelle will officiate. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
