Jack B. Konrad Jr. passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness with Leiomyosarcoma. He was born March 1, 1966 in Amherst, Ohio and grew up in Fremont.
Jack believed in the Lord and had faith in his eternal home. He was a daily Bible reader, and appreciated the history associated with Christianity. He attended Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion.
Jack proudly served his country as a member of the Army National Guard for eight years. He graduated from The University of Toledo and worked as an Electrical Engineer. He became a Registered Professional Engineer in 2002.
Jack enjoyed classic cars, classic rock music, and playing guitar. He was an avid Steelers fan and was a member of the Vermilion Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and his children, Seth Konrad, Emily Jackiewiecz (Josh) and Erin Konrad. He was blessed to meet his grandchildren, Elliot, Oliver, and Adelaide. He is also survived by his brother, Dan Konrad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Barbara Konrad, and his grandparents, Richard and Lorraine Cragin.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Riddle Funeral Home. The Reverend Cliff Morris will officiate. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church 591 Ferndale Ave., Vermilion, OH 44089.
