Jackie Joe Fisher

Jackie Joe Fisher (nee Penner), aged 77, of Vermilion, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her residence following a sudden illness.

Born on December 6, 1946, in Bakersfield, CA, Jackie had called Vermilion her home for the last 61 years.

Jackie attended Grace United Methodist Church in Vermilion, she found joy in tending to her yard, adorning it with vibrant flowers, and engaging in spirited rounds of BINGO. Her affection for animals was evident throughout her life.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Dottie Seal and several good friends who were more like family.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Bud" Fisher, parents, Delmer and Georgie (nee Davis) Penner, son, Mark R. Fisher, in 2017, as well as one sister and two brothers..

Private services will be held, with inurnment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Vermilion.
