Jacob Andrew Lacinak

Jacob  Andrew "Jake" Lacinak, 42, of Elyria, died Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation following  a lengthy illness.

He was born February 6, 1982 in Oberlin, OH and had been a lifelong Vermilion resident, in recent years relocating to  Elyria.

Jake was a big fan of all  Cleveland and Cincinnati sports, was an avid reader, a history buff, enjoyed music and playing his guitars.

He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Lacinak; siblings, Julia  (Ryan) Jasko; Tara  Lacinak, Will Lacinak, and Aidan Lacinak; several nieces and nephews; step mother, Barbara  Lacinak; step sisters, Bridget  (Daryl) J Lahti and  Amy Beth Herman; his  best friend, Joe Joe; and his girlfriend, Patti.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J Lacinak, Jr.; brother, Joseph James "Jamie" Lacinak , III; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

A celebration of Jake's life will be held at a later date.
