Jacqueline M. 'Jackie' Dennison

Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Dennison (nee Stygles), 81, of Vermilion, died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Jackie was born February 19, 1931 in Arlington, MA and was a Vermilion resident for the past 48 years moving from Syracuse, NY. Jackie worked for Fisher Big Wheel in Vermilion and was co-owner of D & D Sunoco in Vermilion. Family was everything to Jackie, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren .She enjoyed dancing to Big Band music, reading, and attending Senior groups in Vermilion. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion. She was also a member of the Vermilion Democratic Women's Club, the Erie County Democratic Central Committee, the IAV Club in Sandusky, Lorain County Federated Democratic Women, and State Federated Democratic Women. She is survived by her daughter, Celeste (Brian) McKissick of Amherst; son, Stephen W. (Barbara) Dennison of Montara, CA; grandchildren, Ashley Payne, Chandra Kinkead, Zachary McKissick and Alexandra Dennison; great grandchildren, Nadine, Valerie, Kailee, Stella and Kyra; a sister, Lorraine Beasley of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert "Denny" Dennison on February 6, 1992; her parents, George A. and Esther R. (nee Caterino) Stygles and a sister, Loretta Hepburn, 2012. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 23, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion, at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Michael J.
