Jacqueline Raye 'Jackie' Mcgee

Jacqueline Raye "Jackie" McGee (nee Viola ), 71, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 from complications of heart surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She was born March 28, 1946 in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Loyce (nee Robinson) Viola. Jackie retired as a registered nurse from Mercy Hospital in Lorain. Upon retirement, her and her husband, Dave, took many ocean cruises to Alaska, Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and other spots. She also enjoyed her weekly Mahjong games with "the girls" and attending Cleveland Indians games with her husband, Dave. Jackie's best friend and the love of her life was her husband, Dave. They had a special love that will last eternally. She is also survived by her children, Raymond, Michelle, Shannon, and James; grandchildren, Timmy, Corrina, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Ryder, James, and Austin; and her sisters, Linda and Angela. Jackie and her daughter, Shannon, had a special mother-daughter bond, helping each other through life's ups and downs. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The family will also receive friends on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral service at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Reverend Joe Steinbauer will officiate.
