James "Jim" Henry Hauff, 75, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born June 25, 1934 in Lorain and has been a life long Vermilion resident. Jim had worked at Wakefield Brass, Vermilion and for the past 20 years worked as a Cobbler at his shop, Jim's Shoe Repair, Vermilion Twp.. He enjoyed gardening and his pets. Survivors include his brothers, Richard Hauff of Vermilion, Frederick (Carol) Hauff of Wellington, and Thomas (Darlene) Hauff of Orlando, FL and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his wife, Antoinette (nee Bates) Hauff in 1993 and his parents, Albert and Ruth (nee Hill) Hauff. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11:30 am at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South Street Vermilion, OH 44089.
