James Iglewski

June 14, 1941 — November 26, 2004

James "Jimski" Iglewski, age 63, of Vermilion, died Friday, November 26, 2004 at Community Health Partners and Surgical Center in Lorain following a sudden illness. He was born on June 14, 1941 in Kenmore, New York and has lived in Vermilion for the past 4 years, moving from Clarksfield. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served from 1967-1969. He was a truck driver with Consolidated Freightways for 34 years. He was a member of AMVETS Post 22 in Vermilion and the Teamsters Retiree Club. He was passionate about his grandchildren, an avid fisherman and hunter. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Linda R. Iglewski (nee Thomson) of Vermilion; daughter, Andrea Gratz of Vermilion; sons, Darick Pash of Abilene, TX and Tony DeChiaro of Norwalk; 7 Grandchildren; sister, Barbara Marz of North Carolina. Preceding him in death were his parents, Leo Martin and Eleanor Marie (nee Mende) Iglewski and brothers, Bill and Lee Iglewski. The family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Monday, November 29, 2004 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. The Vermilion Veteran's Council will provide a military honor service at 7:00 pm.
