James Albert Spears

James Albert Spears, 76, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 in Amherst Manor Retirement Community. He was born April 13, 1933 in Reynoldsville, PA and has been a Vermilion resident most of his life. He worked as a security guard for the Lorain Ford Automotive Plant for 29 years retiring in 1991. Survivors include his daughter, Sherri Akers of Vermilion; son, Jim (Margie) Spears of Wellington, OH; 4 grandchildren, Kristen Akers, Adam Spears, Kyle Spears and Amanda Spears; brother, Paul Spears and sisters, Marjorie Murdock and Mary Scherer all of PA. Preceding him in death were his wife, Nancy Spears in 1981; parents, S. Paul and Adelaide (nee Worrall) Spears and a sister, Vivian Casey.
