Janice Louise Mankin

In loving memory of Janice Louise Mankin (nee Smith), age 76, who passed away the morning of June 12, 2018 at her home in Vermilion, Ohio. Janice endured a lengthy illness. She was born November 29, 1941 in Eubank, Kentucky and moved with her husband, Oliver Mankin to Vermilion in their early 20's to raise their family and work at the Lorain Ford Plant. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oliver "Mickey" Mankin; her granddaughter, Hilary Mankin; mother, Gladys (nee Carter) Smith; and her brother Butch Smith. She is survived by her three children; eldest son, Roy (Rhea); son Mark (Krissy); and daughter, Mitzi, who took care of her so that she could rest at home. Janice is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Wesley, Rachel, Ashley and Christopher; and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
