Jason Samuel Bowman

Jason S. Bowman, 43, of Oberlin, died Friday, May 5, 2023 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center after a brief illness.

He was  born May 28, 1979 in Canton, OH and had been a Oberlin resident for the past 25 years moving from North Canton.

Jason worked for General Plug as a Material Handler for the past 15 years.

He was a talented artist who enjoyed collecting anything collectable, horror movies, music, and telling dad jokes.  He will be remembered for having a quick sense of humor and being an excellent dad.

He is survived by his daughter, Jade Day of Oberlin, long time partner, Ruby Day of Oberlin; mother Robin (nee Richeson) Marraccini; brothers, Jesse Bowman, Gary Bowman, Rick Bowman, Franklin Wallace Robey, Raymond Wallace and Zach Robey; and his sister, Desiree Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil "Sonny" Bowman; maternal grandparents, Nancy Walter and Robert Richeson; and his paternal grandparents, Martha and Virgil Bowman.

Private family services will be held.
