Jason Michael Dunbrook

Jason Michael Dunbrook, 40, of Vermilion, passed away unexpectedly April 5, 2017. Jason was born October 24, 1976 in Columbus, OH and had lived in Vermilion for 30 years. He was self-employed as an electrician for many years. There were so many wonderful qualities Jason had besides being a kind, loving, and funny guy. He had many great skills, however, he suffered for many years with a terrible addiction The only comfort his family has now is that he is at peace and no longer has to deal with the horrific struggle of his addiction and is now in Heaven with God. He is survived by his loving parents, Richard and Jill (nee Dunbrook) MacVicar of Vermilion; his cherished grandparents, James and Judith Dunbrook; step grandparents, Keith and Madeline MacVicar of FL; and his children whom he adored, Sydney, Jacob, and Kaleb Dunbrook. He is also survived by the following aunts and uncles who were more like brothers and sisters to him as he was raised with them until age 8, Jeff Dunbrook, Jann (Chuck) Dindia, Jimo (Shelly) Dunbrook, Jenifer (Cary) Brabander, Jeanne (Ken) Kasler, Jonny (Sarah) Dunbrook, and Joey (Carla) Dunbrook; 13 nieces and nephews, a half brother and sister and their children and a host of other relatives. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, from 4:00 pm until the time of a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 pm at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH. Pastor Josh Budka will officiate.
