Jean L. Salva (nee Knapp), 60 of Grafton, died Monday, January 1, 2007 at the home of her sister and brother, after a lengthy illness. She was born June 5, 1946 in Elyria, Ohio and has been a Lorain County Resident most of her life, recently moving to Grafton. She was attending the Community United Methodist Church, Elyria. She enjoyed reading, paint by numbers, crocheting, needlework, bowling, dancing, and camping. Survivors include her daughters: Jean Ward of Berlin Heights, Teresa Holt of Elyria, Robbie Mussell of Norwalk, Sabrina (Ellen) Osborne of Elyria, and step daughter, Windy Salva of Grafton; 12 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lida Mays of Grafton and Mary Murray of Elyria; brothers: Hugh Knapp of Elyria, Don Knapp of Grafton, and Ed Knapp of Elyria; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, Hugh and Frances (nee Lee) Knapp; a daughter, son, Paul Adams; 2 grandchildren; brother, Lester Knapp; sister, Catherine Schramam; and son-in-law, Jay Ward. Friends may call Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 6-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home 5345 South St. Vermilion, OH 44089. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at 10 am with the Rev. Donald Lare, pastor of Community United Methodist Church, officiating.
